The Future Of The Future

104. On Influencers And Social Media.

Episode Notes

The average person spends two and a half hours per day on social media.

From entertainment, to business, to staying up to date with news, social media platforms permeate every aspect of our lives.

More than half of young people want to become influencers and would choose that as an occupation if possible.

But, what does it mean? What is an influencer? How do you become one? What does it take? What does it feel like?

Personal and company brands are more intertwined than ever.

Even if you don't make a living out of being an influencer, chances are you still need to work on your online personal brand, because it's now a part of your job.

Today, I will interview Claire Barthelemy, chief of staff at Professional Capital Management, to talk about her story, her early days as an influencer, her experience and views on the marketing industry, and what it means to build an online presence in today's world.

Enjoy!
